Verona, Innsbruck & Germany

So, Wednesday we left Venice (on the correct train this time) and headed to Verona. We found parking, got a coffee and started walking to the Arena. This thing was built almost 2000 years ago...that blows my mind!

We also walked over to Juliet's House...there was no Juliet but it's a cute little courtyard where people come to touch Juliet's breast for luck.

I don't need luck in love...I was just thanking the Universe!

After a quick look around Verona we headed back to Austria...Innsbruck!

Justin has been here before. Long time ago he was seeing this girl and he took her with him to Europe. They stopped in Innsbruck for a night but he didn't really want to talk about it when I asked him about the town. Turns out he had a really terrible time there with this person...she wouldn't help pay for anything and he wasn't really into her. I told him "Well, it's you and me here now...delete that memory!" and he said "Already done."

We didn't get to stay long but we thought it was adorable. We'd love to go back someday and stay longer. Some favorite shots:

A great trip with my lover & best friend
After Innsbruck it was late afternoon and we had to get back to Vienna so we started driving. A few hours later we were in Germany and getting very hungry. We pulled off in Anger, Germany, to try and find some place to eat but we couldn't find anything. We drove through a tiny, adorable town called Aufham and found a pub there that served food. We walked in and there were farmers. Old men. A few dozen...and they seemed to stop and stare at us as we walked in. The waitress spoke no English...she and I were the only women in the place!  But I have to say...BEST MEAL EVER. So damn good.

I love him!!!
So, after we left there it took time to get back to Vienna...it was midnight before we made it and we were exhausted!!!

We still had 3 full days in Vienna to hang with Mollz, Andi & the kiddos...more to come!!
